In 2026 through September 30, 10 single-family homes sold in Worcester at a median price of $390,000, with sales ranging from $236,250 to $867,500. Worcester moves slower than its neighbors: the median home sold in 40 days, and only 3 of the 10 sold within 30 days. The typical home had 3 bedrooms, about 1,800 square feet and about 6 acres.
Worcester is a small town of land and mountain views on Route 12, with the Worcester Range trails in town and Montpelier a short drive south. Homes here take longer to sell than in Berlin or Montpelier, so buyers have more room to negotiate, and sellers need to price to the recent sales from day one.
These figures come from our own PrimeMLS search of single-family sales in Worcester from January 1 to September 30, 2026, with the median calculated from the individual sales.
Worcester gives buyers more time than most Central Vermont towns. Only 2 of the 10 homes sold at their original list price, none sold above it, and 3 sold 10% or more below. Homes that were priced right still moved: the 3 that sold within 30 days got a median 100% of their list price.
For current numbers, see the Worcester market report, updated from PrimeMLS.
